About Children’s Book Trust CBT is the country’s oldest children’s book publisher, founded in 1955 by Shankar, the famous political cartoonist. It publishes titles that are household names in the country, for age groups 5-15. CBT publishes only story books, and such – and does not publish text books. Located in prime location in central Delhi, CBT also owns the Shankar Doll Museum, the world’s largest costume doll museum; and also organizes the well known Shankar’s On-the-spot Painting Competition. Requirement As part of strategy to increase availability of quality books to the children of India, CBT is currently re-defining its marketing strategy.
