About Children’s Book Trust CBT is the country’s oldest children’s book publisher, founded in 1955 by Shankar, the famous political cartoonist. It publishes titles that are household names in the country, for age groups 5-15. CBT publishes only story books, and such – and does not publish text books. Located in prime location in central Delhi, CBT also owns the Shankar Doll Museum, the world’s largest costume doll museum; and also organizes the well known Shankar’s On-the-spot Painting Competition. Requirement As part of strategy to increase availability of quality books to the children of India, CBT is currently re-defining its marketing strategy. In this process there is need of following: Position Market Analyst Experience 1-2 years (may be relaxed for exceptional candidate) Job Description Research trends among bulk buyers (government, and private) Maintain communication and relationship with existing sales channels Email, mail re new book releases to existing and potential bulk clients Organize existing sales data, and other databases Create database of key people in governmental education sector Create databases of potential bulk buyers, distributors New Tenders - scan newspapers, other trade press, to identify upcoming tenders for purchase of books by government New Tenders – ensure CBT proposal is submitted in time for new tenders Prepare Monthly Sales Report Digital Strategy – coordinate with IT team and editorial and organize digitization of previous titles published by CBT Digital Strategy – coordinate with IT team to prepare e-flyers about new titles Digital Strategy – assist the web team for marketing content Create database of competition – and analyze trends, sales of competition Create database of reviewers, journalists who review children books Create database of newspaper sections that focus on children Coordinate CBT participation in conferences and book fairs Identify and implement strategies for promotion of book sales among school, government, retail, and individual buyers Identify strategies for promotion of monthly magazine, Children’s World Skills Required Internet Based Research Business Communication MS Excel, PowerPoint Problem Solving Skills | Can-do Attitude Proactive Telephone | Tele-calling Skills Interested candidates may contact Sushma Arora Trustee, CBT at sushekher@gmail.com for further details Sushma Arora trustee, Children Book Trust -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.
