Dear Sir, Kindly post this to the forum. ---------------------------------------- Applications are invited for one (1) purely temporary position in the Documentation Research and Training Centre (DRTC) at the Bangalore Centre of the Indian Statistical Institute to work as a Project Linked Personnel (PLP) in the project titled, "Integrated and Unified Data Model for Publication and Sharing of prolonged pandemic data as FAIR Semantic Data: COVID-19 as a case study," funded by the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) from April 2021 through March 2024. *Qualification: * *Essential*: Master's in Computer Science/ Bioinformatics/ Library and Information Science/ Information Science/ Cognitive Science, or equivalent in related areas, or, B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science/ Biomedical Engineering/ Information Technology, or in related areas. Good working experience in Python programming language. Good oral and written communication skills in English. *Desirable*: Knowledge in RDF, OWL, and SPARQL, and exposure to machine learning will be a plus. *Pay*: Rs. 30000.00 (thirty thousand) per month consolidated. *Tenure of Appointment*: The appointment will initially be for one year, extendable till the end of duration of the project, subject to satisfactory performance. *Age*: Age: Should not exceed 35 years as on 01 April 2021, with usual relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and differently abled candidates.
