*INDIAN STATISTICAL INSTITUTE* *8TH MILE, MYSORE ROAD, BANGALORE - 560059* Date: 26 May 2025 *ADVERTISEMENT* Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) is inviting applications for the recruitment of one (01) Project linked person purely on temporary basis to work in the internally funded project titled "Open Linked Data Service of Indian Intellectuals: A Semantic Framework for Eminent Academicians from the Indian Statistical Institute," in the *Documentation Research and Training Centre, Indian Statistical Institute, Bangalore* under the Project Principal Investigator *Dr. Biswanath Dutta* for a period of three years from 2025-2028. *Qualification:* *Essential*: Master's in Library and Information Science/ Information Science/ Computer Science or an equivalent qualification in a related field. Strong oral and written communication skills in English are required. *Desirable*: Familiarity with ontology development, semantic web technologies (such as RDF, OWL, and SPARQL), and natural language processing (NLP) will be considered an advantage. *Pay*: Rs. 31000.00 (Rupees thirty-one thousand only) per month, consolidated. *Tenure of Appointment*: The initial appointment will be for one year, extendable until the end of the project's duration, subject to satisfactory performance. *Age Limit*: Should not exceed 35 years as on 10 June 2025, with usual relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and differently abled candidates.
