Dear Professionals I am sad to inform you that Dr Harish Chandra ji, the emiment professional and Librarian, IIT Madras breathed his last on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at around 5:45 pm at Chennai. The profession has lost a true professional. His immense contributions to the profession would be remembered forever. It is indeed a sad news that Dr. Harish Chandra is no more. I remember talking to him about disaster planning in IIT library, Chennai and his presentation available on net was very informative and useful for my research.
