Dear Friends, OCLC Formally Withdraws WorldCat Policy As had been widely expected, OCLC announced late Friday the formal withdrawal of a proposed Policy for Use and Transfer of WorldCat Records, which was criticized as being overly restrictive and emerging without sufficient consultation.
