Informatics Studies is a peer-reviewed international journal published quarterly in English and promoted by the Centre for Informatics Research and Development. The journal is now completing its tenth year of publication. Informatics Studies has already published two special issues on Heritage Informatics. They are available at https://www.informaticsstudies.org/ We propose to bring out the third special issue in the series during July 2023 for which papers are invited. The proposed special issue will give stress to different aspects of cultural heritage like the following; but not limited to them. · Cultural Heritage-Preservation, Conservation, Documentation and Dissemination by GLAMS and Memory Institutions, Community Heritage, Traditional knowledge, User Perspectives etc. · Heritage and Tourism Management- Cultural Tourism, Tourism Management, Tourism Education, Sustainable Tourism and Visitor Experience Management · Digitization of Cultural Heritage- Application of ICT and development of Cultural Heritage Information System (CHIS), Best Practices, Policies, Guidelines and Architectural Designs; Challenges and Opportunities; Application of ICT and development of Cultural Heritage Information System (CHIS), · Sustainability: Social, environmental and economic sustainability aspects of culture, heritage, art, architecture and tourism. · Any aspects of data management, interface design, human information interaction, ontologies, metadata, data models, linked open data, controlled vocabularies, semantic technologies, interoperability, classification, language processing, discovery tools, developing the information system etc., in the digital cultural heritage context. · Any other aspect of culture, heritage, art and architecture coming under heritage. Papers for the special issue (Volume 10:3) will be accepted up to 20th June 2023. Papers are to be uploaded to the journal site. A copy can be sent by e-mail as MS Word file attachment.
