The department is working with the vision to educate individuals for career as librarians, documentalists, information professionals, archivists, information scientists and knowledge managers. The students are educated and trained in the emerging library and information science developments as required by the existing and emerging market requirements. Presently the department is offering B.Lib.I.Sc, M.Lib.I.Sc and Ph.D in Library and Information Science. Papers will be reviewed to check quality and relevance to the main topic of the conference. The papers should include abstract, introduction, objectives, methodology, findings and references. Full Paper (not more than 2000 words) carrying an abstract, keywords, title, name(s), affiliation(s), email address(es), and references should be submitted latest by 02 November 2017 to the General Secretary, IATLIS, C/o Department of Library and Information Science, Punjabi University, Patiala-147002 (Punjab), preferably by email at iatlis2017@gmail.com *Paper Submission Guidelines* Authors are required to follow the guidelines given below: · Name of the author(s), postal address, email address, phone numbers should clearly be mentioned on a separate sheet along with the paper. · Paper should be typed in English on A-4 size paper using single space with one inch margin on each side.
