Dear LIS Professionals, It is a shocking news about the sad demise of Prof A.K. Bardol. Immediately after completing MLIS he joined as a Lecturer in DLIS, Karnatak University. He was a knowledgeable and friendly teacher to us. Later he moved to Mangalore University. He served as Professor and Chairman at DLIS. He guided many for PhD. In his loss we lost a freiend and very good teacher. May his soul rest in peace. I pray lord to give strength to bear the great loss. Regards, Dr I.R.N.
