Dear Researchers and Practitioners:
The International Journal of Librarianship (IJoL) invites you to submit papers for possible inclusion in a special issue titled “Resilience, Reflection, and Innovation: Library Services and Practices During COVID-19 Pandemic” for publishing in Volume 7, Issue 1, July 2022.
IJoL is a double-blind peer-reviewed academic journal focusing on sharing and spreading new ideas and developments in the field of library and information science around the world. Published biannually, IJoL (ISSN 2474-3542(Online)) is open access and indexed and available in full text in both the EBSCO and ProQuest databases and listed in many online directories such as Library of Congress, Directory of Open Access Journal (DOAJ), etc. All articles published in IJoL are permanently preserved by the Library of Congress and LOCKSS/PKP PLN system. The journal welcomes original research papers, field reports, reviews, commentaries or news as specified on the journal’s website under Section Policies: https://journal.calaijol.org/index.php/ijol/about.
Library services and practices have been greatly affected during the COVID-19 pandemic.
This special issue aims to provide a platform for researchers and practitioners to present their research and share experiences on this important and timely topic.
Areas of interest for this special issue include, but are not limited to the following:
● The changes of the library users’ information needs and/or information-seeking behaviors
● The modification and adjustment of library policies
● Rethinking library services and practices
● Best practices and lessons learned
● Teaching and training the library workforce to meet the challenges
● International collaboration efforts among library professionals and organizations
