He had maintained a lasting relationship with Engineers of BEL and won respect by his dedicated, sincere and consistent information services. He won special respect among Library Professionals because of his knowledge sharing and friendly nature. He had trained so many budding LIS students and guided them to success. He also served as an Quality auditor, training faculty and contributed as a part of the several committees at BEL. Kalyansir was having all the Professional values to admire. Collaboration, Professionalism, dedicated Service, diversity, democracy, intellectual freedom, Confidentiality, integrity, putting customer first are a few to mention. As a person he was having a cool temperament, a kind heart and a strong mettle. I know him since I had joined BEL during 2008 and got an opportunity to work with him for one and half year. He is a good mentor, a true Professional. Even after retirement, we used to receive specific insights on various issues. I happen to meet him during last New Year Party and had a long chat. He was remembering eminent Personalities in LIS fields and inspiring us for our future. Sir, told us to understand the information needs of Project Leaders better and plan accordingly.
