Dear Professionals, I am saddened to know that Prof. A.Neelameghan has passed away. His contributions to Library Science is really immense. Over a period of four decades Prof. A. Neelameghan was continuously engaged as a visionary leader in the field of Library and Information Science. I had the pleasure with him to work in the Dr. S.R.Ranganathan Access Portal in 2006 to 2007. He helped me to prepare a talk on Five Laws of Libraries and its Influence on the Library Profession: Issues and Challenges. International Seminar Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of Ranganathan's Five Laws of Library Science, Organized by Korean Library Association, Seoul, Korea, during 2012 He will live for ever in the hearts of many LIS professionals.
