Dr R Guruprasad, Scientist, CSIR-NAL Awarded 'Eminent Scientist of the Year 2016'
Dr. Ramachandran Guruprasad, Scientist, CSIR-NAL has been awarded 'Eminent Scientist of the Year 2016' by the National Environmental Science Academy, New Delhi. The jury has selected him for the award in view of his outstanding contributions in the field of Information Science and its applications to Aerospace Engineering. The award consists of a Gold Medal, Silver Memento, a Citation and Certificate. The award would be presented to Dr Guruprasad in the XXIV Annual Meet of the National Environmental Science Academy on 19 November 2016 at the Punjab University, Chandigarh. Dr Guruprasad holds a MLIS degree from the Annamalai University and a Ph.D. from the Department of Studies in Library and Information Science, University of Mysore.
