Sheikh Ghulam Rasool who is also a member of the AIL committee said he will persuade the MPs to get some help from the Government of India on extending budgetary support to AIL and the Kashmir University. “This big gesture from Sheikh Ghulam Rasool was appreciated by everybody at the meeting . Vice chancellor Prof Talat also appreciated his magnanimous gesture and hoped that others will also come forward to help in the growth and development of the AIL,” a KU spokesman said in a statement.
