Automation & Networking of ASCs: A Proposal to UGC
Dear all, We all are aware of the fact that, one needs to run from pillar post (even) to find the forthcoming training schedules of the UGC-Academic Staff Colleges (ASCs) on one platform. What if all 66 ASCs work in a networked environment and share scholarly literature online? Highlighting this concern and issue, i wrote an exclusive article entitled 'Automation and Networking of Academic Staff Colleges: A Proposal to University Grants Commission'. This is published in 'University News' (Vol. 52 (47)) of November 24-30, 2014 (pp.9-18). You may read the full-text paper on the following link and share your suggestions and comments to make the ASCs more reachable and openly accessible. *http://nkc.ac.in/DisplayPage.aspx?page=cos&ItemID=323 <http://nkc.ac.in/DisplayPage.aspx?page=cos&ItemID=323>* Best regards, Santosh C.
