The opinion of Dr. GOPAKUMAR sir is correct, many of the Associations, colleges/universities(especially Tamilnad region) have practiced this unfair habit of felicitation(apply and get felicitate themselves). This may spoil our profession, especially those who have undeserved (no contributions to our profession) get this type of felicitated photo/momento and same may show it to their institutions and getting influenced.
