Dear Professional Friends, I congratulate Prof. Kavi Mahesh, PES University, who developed "One Million Kannada Wiki pages" under the project KAONE: Centre for Knowledge, Analytics and Ontology Engineering at PES University, Bangalore. The Project sponsored by world Bank, Govt of India, and Govt of Karnataka. "PES Ullekhaa Maalaa"which describes one million Kannada Wiki pages was inaugurated by Nadoja Prof.G. Venkatasubbaiah, who had penned the Kannada dictionary and he was the person who started Kannada wiki pages 12 years back. On November 13th ,2014 at 4.00 PM he inaugurated the Kannada wiki pages at PES Tech Park Auditorium. During this moment Prof. H.S. Venkatesha Murthy, renowned Kannada poet enlightened the gatering about the importance and about the beauty of kannada. Professor Kavi Mahesh spoke about the advantages of this wikipages. He told information about Sachin tendulkar, Narendra Modi, Einstein and their works can be available in kannada which he used translation of german techology with high end computetrs. M.
