Dear LIS colleagues, in connection with the Frankfurt Book Fair in October 2006, with India being Guest of Honor this year, a LIS conference of the DGI (German society for information science and information practice) will be held in Frankfurt/Germany. One of the topics chosen is "LIS in India" - which provides an excellent opportunity to present professional Indian activities and projects. The call for papers is published also in English language on the website for the conference: www.online-tagung.de (link: "CfP English"). For any suggested contributions, an abstract of up to 400 words would have to be submitted until 1st of March to the organizers and, if the suggestion is accepted, the full contribution must be submitted by 30th of June.
