Dear Kulkarni, Exactly i am also saying same words that systematic study will helps to get through. U r saying Only compulsory for Social Science and general science candidates. YES .Correct because, now Designations has been changed from Lecture to Asst Profesr , profesr and For Engineering faculties they are not under UGC and they are under AICTE. So they are having their own criteria for promotions and selection. We cant question UGC and here it is not INjustice at all?. And Librarians come under teaching only. So they are conducting NET/SLET Exams for selection.
