The following topics will be covered in the workshop. · Introduction to Content Management System; · Joomla: fundamentals and features (Theory); · Installation and configuration of web server (XAMPP/WAMP); · Joomla installations and basic configurations (theory and practices); · Basic configuration in php, css and html for template customization in Joomla; · Introduction to control panel and different options available for Administrator; · Creating Articles, Menus, Sub-Menus and Contents; · Adding modules and plug-ins; · User and Content Management; · Managing Articles, layouts and themes; · Advanced concepts – Multilingual website, Discussion Forum; and · Website hosting & backup. It is requested to depute library/IT professionals working in your organizations by paying workshop registration fee of Rs. 3370.00 (Rupees three thousand three hundred seventy only) per person without accommodation and Rs. 5618.00 (Five thousand six hundred eighteen only) with accommodation (four days three nights with twin sharing basis) inclusive of service tax @12.36% as applicable.
