Friends: Many institutions - with large library collections - have joined the Open Content Alliance in order to help build a digital archive of global content for universal access. Please see <http://www.opencontentalliance.org/contributors.html>, As far as I know, no Indian institution has joined OCA so far. It is time that we become part of this worldwide initiative of great importance. Our leading academic institutions, publicly funded laboratories, research institutions in the fields of arts, humanities, culture and public policy can all join Open Content Alliance and gain great visibility for their work.
