The critical need for DEI in our contemporary society is substantiated by trending examples that underscore its urgency. This seminar explores the components, historical context, and the imperative need for DEI in organizations in general and libraries in particular. With the help of statistical analysis, a few case studies are presented to unravel the impact of DEI within organizations. Furthermore, a sample survey has been conducted that helps to draw evidence-based conclusions, showcasing how DEI initiatives enhance organizational dynamics and performance. The presentation includes strategies, tools, and job roles dedicated to promoting DEI in diverse organizations. We would also explore the symbiotic relationship between DEI and libraries, emphasizing how these entities influence one another. The aim of the seminar is not only to enhance understanding but also to inspire action, culminating in a vision of a more inclusive future. The seminar requests all to join in this illuminating journey toward a world where diversity, equity, and inclusion are at the heart of every organization. *Coordinator:** Dr. Biswanath Dutta.* *Speaker:** Chitra Ghosh* *Date**: 07.09.2023* *Time**: 14:00 hrs.* *Venue:* DRTC Class Room, (Room No-G-16), Documentation Research & Training Centre (DRTC), Indian Statistical Institute, 8th Mile, Mysore Road, RVCE Post, Bangalore, 560059 *All are cordially invited.* -- Thanks and Regards, Amit Tiwari Senior Research Fellow, DRTC, Indian Statistical Institute, Bengaluru, India, 560059 -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.
