Vacancy for Library Trainees at Vikram Sarabhai Library, IIM Ahmedabad
Dear All With reference to the subject cited above, Vikram Sarabhai Library, Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad is in the process of hiring Library Trainees. Eligibility Criteria 1. Post Graduate in Library & Information Science with first class (those who are appearing for MLISc exam can also apply) 2. Good communication skills in English 3. Strong interpersonal and intrapersonal skills 4. Sound working knowledge of IT and IT related applications use in libraries. 5. Knowledge of Linux, PHP and web design will be an added advantage 6. Age limit: 26 years (as on 27/05/2014) Interested candidates may forward their resume to following id: librarian@iimahd.ernet.inon or before 15/05/2014. Test date: 27/05/2014 Time: 9.30 AM Place: Vikram Sarabhai Library, IIM Ahmedabad Candidates are requested to come along with resume and copy of their original certificates Note: · Compensation offered for the above post is a consolidated stipend of up to Rs.14, 000/- per month. · The applicant must be available for work from Monday to Saturday (both days inclusive). · On requirement trainees may be called on shift duty and on holiday too. · The training period will be purely for a period of one year · No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview · Selection of candidate will be based on written test followed by a personal interview · The written test and interview will be in English. · No of vacancies: Approx. 6 Regards H.
