Fw: Seminar on Future of Libraries and Annual Function of Satkal Trust at IGNCA on 27th August 2011

Dear Colleagues, Kala Nidhi Division of Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) in collaboration with Satkal Trust is organizing one day seminar on "Future of Libraries: Road Ahead" and Annual Function of Satkal Trust on 27th August, 2011. Only invited speakers which consists of both experienced and young eminent librarians will speak at the Seminar. The debate on print vs electronic, virtual vs. real, hybrid or paperless will be the point of attraction at the seminar. The detailed programme of the Seminar will be circulated soon. The Seminar will be organized at following venue:- Auditorium, Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts(IGNCA) C.V.Mess, Janpath , New Delhi The above venue is very near to Central Secretariat Metro Station and entrance is from the Janpath Road i.e. opposite to National Archives of India, New Delhi. The Seminar is open to all Library & Information Science professionals. There is no registration fee, however, registration will be open for only 150 participants. The registration will be done on first cum first basis. Pre-registration is must. No on the spot registration will be done. So please hurry up and register yourselves for the seminar.
