Dear Professional i am confused in AICTE-Norms. acc to AICTE norms at the time of opening a institution we requires 150 titles with 1000 volumes but after that if we required more copies for the same title than in that condition no information is their. acutally in my library we have more than 15 copies of a single title and now we are in the processes for accredation for a deemed university and i think at the time of acredation we face some problems. with regard *Pawan Kumar Sharma* *Dy. Dear Mr. Sharma,
According to AICTE Norms, an engineering institution is required to procure minimum 250 titles with 1000 volumes of books and 4 journals (2 national and 2 foreign) for opening up any branch. Besides, it is also required to have 1000 volumes of books for General, Humanities and Applied Science Group.
