This is the biggest loss not only to library profession but the digital library movement in the country. Dr. Rajashekar had taken Indian libraries technology movement to the peak and was one of the few professionals known world wide for his immense contribution to the profession. I have never met him personally but known him through the work he has done. May his sould rest in peace and almighty gives all strength to his family to bear this loss. Dear All, It is relly very shocking to here the sad and untimely demise of Dr.T.B. Rajashekar in a road accident. Dr.Rajashekar was my classmate in DRTC 1976-77 batch and was a room mate also in the DRTC hostel. We had lot of common professional interest and we did a joint Project Report for submission for ADISc degree. Right from the beginning he had very keen interest in the subject and we used to have lot of lively discussions. Later how he professional rose and continued to stay at that level is known to all. On behalf of all of my classmates of DRTC batch(1976-77) and my colleagues at NICFOS, CFTRI Mysore I am sending these condolences to his bereaved family members.
