I have read the article as well as the comment. I have also been trained in NewGenLib at NISCAIR. Mr. Giri was the resource person. He always told that there were certain difficulties, he did not overcome by the time and need more experimentation and discussion at NewGenlib Forum. As he told that Mr Em Siddhartha of NewGenLib is very positively responsive to solve problems, one is advised to put the difficulties at NewGenlib Forum. Certain problems he told in the class, has been solved by himself later on. I have implemented NewGenlib in our library and he provided help with out taking a single penny from us. In OSS, findinig a problem in the software and searching for its solution is very lively and continuous process. Also, with the coming of latest version, some earlier problems has already been removed. Thus, I don't find any discrepancies in article at all. About the intention of the author in the article, It is nothing but the process of implementation of OSS in Library Regards Rajendra Singh Dy.
