Dear Professionals, I appreciate the initiative of ILA for contributing towards PM CARES for aiding the fight against COVID - 19. Thank you Mr Vinod Mishra for your suggestion and thank you Prof Kumbar for your nicely drafted letter to LIS Professionals. I have two suggestions in this matter: 1. There is provision of IT relief for donations to PM CARES under Section 80(G). I hope Association will take care of this. 2. Is it possible for Indian Library Association (ILA) to take lead in donating some amount in PM fund for Corona. They may apeal entire LIS community to donate in account with remark (Corona) and whatever money deposited should be donated on behalf of entire LIS community of India.
