Dear Professional Colleagues The preparations for the proposed two days national seminar on *"The Digital shift: Making libraries relevant for education and research" on 6-7 March 2014 *in the Department of Library and Information Science, Karnataka State Women's University, Bijapur is in full swing. LIS professionals including interested stakeholders from other disciplines as well are showing good response. We are planning to accommodate the delegates at nearby guest-houses or hotels or hostels on either no charges or some nominal charges (to be borne by the delegates). In case delegates require a comfort stay there are good number of budget hotels and also hotels of international standards at Bijapur. Accommodation may be arranged if request is sent at least seven days before the Seminar and in that case the delegates will have to bear the charges.
