St. Joseph's College for Women library, Alappuzha organised a BookTalk in connection with Vayanavaaram on 22nd June 2012. Three of the students from the college delivered talk on books that they had read from the college library and that which has influenced them. The college Principal also spoke about the book which she had read recently and advised the students to improve their reading habit. The event was mainly aimed at creating an awareness on the importance of cultivating the habit of reading and was wholeheartedly welcomed by the students and teachers of the college.
