It plays a key role in providing the required information and knowledge on various topics to all the stakeholders as and when required. It also enables the adherence to Copyright and other statutory regulations with regard to materials used at the school. - The job holder needs to oversee the development of information, knowledge management systems and databases for enabling the availability of world class resources to the user community. S/he needs to continuously benchmark with other institutes to implement the best practices and also ensure compliance with relevant legislation e.g. copyright, data protection and intellectual property. The incumbent needs to leverage on networking to identify the world class resources to support the institutes initiatives in the academic and research field. - In order to execute the job effectively, the incumbent is also required to review, support and guide his/her team performance on regular basis. - Experience as a librarian in reputed organisations is highly desirable.
