About the Webinar Managing references to sources used in scholarly writing can sometimes be a daunting task. But the availability of reference management software has simplified reference management to a great extent. Mendeley Desktop reference manager provided by Elsevier is feature-rich software that can be used by authors/researchers for easy and systematic reference management. This webinar focuses on demonstrating Mendeley Desktop reference manager and its effective use for managing references in scholarly writing. Learning Outcomes After participating in the webinar, a participant will be able to: •Understand the rudiments of citing and referencing. •Get acquainted with common referencing styles. •Install and use Mendeley Desktop reference manager. •Capture references from online sources. •Insert citations and generate references in various styles. •Perform advanced tasks such as importing references.
