As part of Open Access Week 2017, KAUST University Library has hosted a Saudi National Workshop on October 23. Leaders from university libraries from around the Kingdom came to engage on the topics of new trends in scholarly communication, open access policies, the benefits of ORCID integration  their institution. [KAUST has adopted the first Open Access mandate in the region in 2014].
