I have dealt very closely with a number of library systems, and have done some study by listing out essential parameters for selecting any library system. Susmitha, can you further elaborate your view on:"...Can we come out with a new profile..."? This will help to pen thoughts. As it is, my own submission is that we need to entirely redo the profile of library and information professionals in the current milieu, which is driven by technology.
