Informatics Studies has just published its latest issue, which is in remembrance of Margreet Wijnstroom who dedicated her life to Democracy and Universal Information Access. The issue is accessible at: http://52.205.22.215/index.php/informatics. Margreet Wijnstroom (1922-2018) from Netherlands was the Secretary General of IFLA from 1971 to 1987; its formative period. She was a farsighted leader of library movements world wide, has fostered the advancement of international librarianship, provided leadership to the library and information community worldwide, demonstrated a comprehensive understanding of all types of libraries and the interrelationships among them, showed a great concern for establishing information systems in developing and underdeveloped countries which can reach all classes of people and was keen on IFLA supporting projects to narrow the digital divide and achieve universal access to information. Margreet passed away on 1 October 2018 and her death is a great loss to the library and information science community.
