UGC-NET: necessary changes and amendments
Dear Friends In connection with the discussion “UGC-NET: necessary changes and amendments” let me say a few words about the cold war between those who qualified UGC-NET and NOT qualified. If such a cold war is prevailing in libraries, it is shows lack of professionalism and personal growth among professionals. Here are some humble suggestions from my part. Advice to those who qualified UGC-NET. (1) Help your colleagues to clear the acid test. (2) Boost their self esteem. (3) Don’t never ever think that UGC-NET made you superior- because people are differently abled. Advice to those who have not qualified UGC- NET. (1) Have a professional Attitude, do hard work and reap success. (2) Don’t hesitate to get tips for the exam from your professional colleagues (3) If you think that "anything less than UGC-NET means I've failed" then you are creating unnecessary stress for yourself. A professional with smiling face and helping hand is a valuable asset to a library. Let me append that, though I tried umpteen times, I couldn’t clear UGC-NET.
