TERI is organizing ICDL 2013 (International Conference on Digital
Libraries) during 27–29 November 2013 at India Habitat Centre, Lodhi
Road, New Delhi. The conference would be inaugurated by Hon'ble VICE
PRESIDENT OF INDIA. The major objectives of this mega event are:
ü To bridge the digital divide between developed and developing countries
ü To create a platform through capacity building on Digital
Library, Knowledge Management and applications of Social Media
ICDL 2013 is also expecting an august gathering of over 500
participants drawn from cross-disciplinary areas etc. We have received
confirmations from several renowned international experts for
participating in the deliberations. Some of the highlights of the
conference would be:
ü Thematic Workshop addressing on contemporary issues to a
focused group of clientele
ü Tutorials by leading DL experts of the World
ü Conference deliberation by the luminaries of Digital Library
ü Exposition by National and International Publishers, Knowledge Vendors

ICDL 2013 invites original submissions focusing on the theme of the

Contributions are invited for conference sessions and tutorials. Topics for
contributions (but are not limited to) include the following.

Paper submission guidelines and date
ICDL invites original papers typed on MS Word. The word limit for each
paper is 5000 words. All papers should be written in English for acceptance
for presentation in the conference. Each submitted paper will be reviewed
by a panel of experts and only well-researched and well-written papers will
be accepted for presentation. It is expected that all accepted papers will
be presented at the conference by the author(s). A few papers shall also be
selected for the poster session presentation. The conference proceedings
that will be distributed to the participants will include the selected
papers (for presentation at the conference) and abstracts (selected for
presentation in the poster session).

secretariat
