The Networking and Information Dissemination Cell (NID Cell) of the UGC Programme on Capacity Building of Women Managers in Higher Education has been set up at the SNDT Women’s University Library, Churchgate, Mumbai 400 020. The NID Cell wishes to recruit TWO professional staff in the grade of Lecturer. The details are as follows: *Two posts – 1 Open and 1 reserved for SC* *Qualifications : * 1. Good academic record with at least 55% of marks or equivalent grade at Master’s Degree Level in Library and Information science/Women’s Studies/Information technology/Computer Applications *OR * in Social Sciences /Humanities with a Women’s Studies component. 2. *National Eligibility Test (NET) or SET as per rules * 3. Good knowledge of Information Technology. *Job description:* To search out and prepare data for the website of the project, to identify and acquire resources (print and digital) for the NID Cell, and to carry out other information-related and administrative work as assigned by the Co-ordinator of the NID Cell. *The job does not involve any teaching.* Kindly note that the positions are temporary and contractual, initially for a period of 1 year, and if found suitable, will be extended till March 31, 2012. Further, they are non-vacational but have the benefit of Privilege Leave (20 days), Sick Leave (10 days) and Casual Leave (8 days) each year, with no privileges of encashment or accumulation of leave. *Remuneration:* Rs. 26,000 (consolidated), likely to be revised.
