3rd LIS Academy Conference Call for Abstracts and Papers

Dear Professional Friends, LIS Academy desires to thank all the professionals who have responded for our call for suggestions on theme for 3rd LIS Academy conference proposed to be held at University of Hyderabad (UoH), Hyderabad. There was an overwhelming responses received both from national as well as international professional community. However, after deliberating over the themes received, the organizing committee has finalized the theme and sub themes. LIS Academy, Bangalore in collaboration with University of Hyderabad (UoH), Hyderabad is organizing 3rd LIS Academy conference on “Reinventing Excellence in Librarianship”. The conference will be held at University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad during 27-29 August 2020. Papers that are not relevant to the scope of conference theme and subthemes will be summarily rejected. · The papers that are aligned to the conference theme and subthemes will be checked for Plagiarism / Similarity as per UGC guidelines with 14 words filter by excluding text in quotes and references. The overall similarity needs to be within 10% · All selected papers will be double-blind peer reviewed by peer reviewers of the conference proceedings to ensure an adequate standard, that the proposed subject of the submitted paper has been followed, that the paper is of a suitable length, the standard of English is adequate and the paper is appropriately referenced. · The papers will be accepted based on the reviewer’s comments/decisions and authors will be requested to submit camera ready copy as per the conference template · Papers that are accepted will be published in the conference proceedings providing at least one author completes registration (including payment). The conference proceedings is a book published with an ISBN · If multiple papers are accepted for publication and presentation by the same author, each paper requires a registration fee to be included in the proceedings. Best three accepted papers selected by expert committee will be considered as invited papers.
