RE: [LIS-Forum] RFID/Barcode Reader

Dear Anita, RFID is the better option if you find affordable. This is better as it has control over theft & misplaced item, faster and bulk transaction possible, time saving and accurate result finding at the time of stock verification. These are the facilities in short provided by RFID. Barcode does not read bulkcopies in one short during transaction , it has to read each copy separately, hence is consuming more time. It cannot control over the Theft and give a check for misplaced book. Stock verification in this facility is a laborious job than that of RFID System.
