      Dear Professional Friends,

I am happy to inform all the professional friends that the LISACON-2020
Virtual Conference of LIS Academy is all set to launch from 27-30 August
2020 every day from 2.30pm to 6.00pm. As informed to all this conference is
projecting to be a conference of difference. It was earlier proposed to be
conducted physically at University of Hyderabad. Unfortunately, due to the
Pandemic Covid-19 the same has been planned to be conducted in virtual
mode. Still the Conference Organizing Committee has put its fullest effort
to make it a conference of difference.

The four days Conference will be inaugurated by Prof. K.K.Aggrawal, the
Hon’ble Chairman, NBA, New Delhi on 27th August 2020 at 2.30pm.
Prof.Karisiddappa, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, VTU and Prof. T.D.Kemparaju,
Vice Chancellor of Bangalore North University have agreed to be the Guests
of Honour. Prof.B Raja Shekhar, Pro Vice-Chancellor, University of
Hyderabad (UoH) will preside over the Inaugural Function.
Prof.Veerabhadrappa, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Kuvempu University will
deliver the Valedictory address on 30th August 2020.

The Conference is configured with 36 Invited Speakers and six Plenary
speakers who are eminent LIS Professionals from across the country. There
are six sessions of 90 minutes’ duration spread over two sessions every day
from 28th to 30 August 2020 from 2.30 pm to 6.00 pm.

Takeaways for the Registered Participants:

The registered participants will get attendance online Certificate
immediately and after Relaxation of the Postal services Print certificates
will also be sent to the address.

The registered Participants will get the e-copy of the flip book containing
the Abstracts of the Conference papers.

There will be a Quiz program during each of the Conference Sessions. All
the registered participants are eligible to take part in the quiz Program.
End of every session during the question and Answer time, a link of quiz
questionnaire in google form containing the questions related to the
lectures delivered in that session. The same will be released through chat
box and scrolling message. The quiz will be automatically closed after 10
minutes. All the participants are requested to open the link immediately
and answer the Multiple Choice Questions and submit the same within 10
minutes. Sooner the quiz is closed; the results will be announced during
the beginning of the next session.
There will be two prizes; the winner and the runner. Both of them will get
the exiting prizes along with the Conference Memento and a beautiful
Certificate of Appreciation.
