At present - only interesting thing that appears there is a partial listing of papers written by 'Googlers'. According to Wired Science - http://blog.wired.com/wiredscience/2008/01/google-to-provi.html - it will soon provide provide free storage space to scientists for open-source scientific datasets. The datasets would would be openly accessible to all.
