** Navodayam Public Library, Kollam District has selected Koha ( www.koha-community.org) for their integrated library system. This is the first public library in Kerala hosted online catalogue using Koha open source library management system. This library affiliated under Kerala State Library Council. Shri. A. Shajahan, District Collector, Kollam inagurated the automated library. Shri. M.A. Baby, Honourable State Education Minister was the chief guest of the function. The project funded under the category of 'Malayalam Computing' and 'Ente Gramam (My Village)' initiative started by Kerala IT Mission. This project completed with the coordination of Akshaya (an initiative Kerala State IT Mission) and Open Knowledge Society. Bibliographical details of 10000 Malayalam books can access through OPAC.
