Re: [LIS-Forum] UGC-NET: necessary changes and amendments
Dear professionals. Firstly I am thankful to all other reviewers who have been sharing their valuable opinions regarding above subject, which force me to think over the same. I agree with the opinions of Dr. Vasanth raju, Vinith Kumar, Vimal Kumar and other which support the current pattern (subjective type). According to me it is the best method and it will be the universal method than the other one. The reason is, subjective type is a writing method where we will get wide choice of tone to express our views on a specific concept. This method will have the opinion which comes from inside the mind not from our memory and it reflects our personal opinion. While in Objective method no need to worry about knowledge. If he/she has good remembering skill it?s enough to qualify NET. I sincerely request UGC to continue the current pattern instead of moving to new one. Otherwise new changes will encourages NET aspirants to mug up whole syllabus, instead of understanding the real concept, then LIS subject will become like "Why this Kolaveri Di" song! Dear All, There may be some advantages and disadvantages of every system, I do not think change in pattern may affect the real intellectual out come for e.g. Indian one of the tough engineering exam IIT JEE is objective and many other exams but only intelligent candidates qualify it. Exam is only the parameter to get the best out of many candidates in minimum time (Now many exams is online and hope in future Net will also conduct, in such case objective method will be only followed) . So my view is changing the pattern will not affect any thing but UGC/Subject experts should frame the questions in such a way that without thoroughly going through the subject one could not solve the questions by LUCK though LUCK only supports those who deserve or WORK HARD i think so!!!!
