Moderator is requested to publish this message: The Library of Indian Institute of Management Calcutta will take a few Library Trainees for an ongoing project. Followings are the details of the appointment: 1. The appointment is purely temporary and contractual for three (3) months only. However for exceptionally good candidates with some experiences, the offer may be given for a period of six months. 2. The job for which these Trainees will be appointed is extremely data-intensive. Hence only hardworking and confident individuals should apply. 3. Desirable qualification is M.Lib.Sc. However individuals with B.Lib.Sc and proven record of experience of data-intensive jobs will also be considered. 4. Preference will be given to those who have some experiences of work. 5. Salary will be commensurate with the experience and qualification subject to a maximum of Rs 10,000/ per month. 6. Selected candidates will have to work 8 hours a day, 6 days a week with weekly off on roster basis. 7. Candidates called for written test/interview will have to attend the same at their own expense. 8. Selected candidates will have to join within 7 days. 9. Institute will not provide any accommodation to the selected candidates. 10. Under no circumstances, the period of appointment for Library Trainees will exceed beyond 3 months/6 months as the case may be at the time of initial appointment. 11.
