Amudavalli, President, MALA 6.00 p.m. Talk by Commodore Shekhar 6.40 p.m. Q & A 6.55 p.m. Vote of Thanks by Ms. Githanjali Chandrasekhar, Branch Head, Library and Information Services, TCS. ^^^^^^^^^ Commodore S Shekhar Commodore S Shekhar is a Graduate of the National Defence Academy, Kharakvasla on completion of which he was awarded the prestigious Telescope for being the Best All Round Naval Cadet of his course. He was commissioned into the Indian Navy in July 1964. He has completed his Engineering Degree from the Naval Engineering College , Lonavala, and Post Graduation in Weapons System Engineering from the Naval Post Graduate School , Jamnagar . He volunteered for Submarine service, and underwent specialist training at the Submarine Training School , Vladivostok . He is also a graduate of the National Defence College , New Delhi from which he was awarded the Master of Defence Science degree from the Allahabad University . After a distinguished career in the Indian Navy, Commodore Shekhar has conducted leadership workshops, seminars and group discussions to officers of the Indian Navy, Defence Training Academy , Academics at the refresher course programs in the University of Madras and foundation course students at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Southern Regional Centre.
