ORCID is adopted by major journal publishers, funders, and many academic and research institutions. The uptake is growing pretty fast. I wonder how many researchers in India have an ORCID identity. But I believe it will be good if all of our researchers can have their ORCID. While many of us are discussing the need for adopting Green OA as a policy for Indian research, it would add value to the policy if we could persuade our researchers to embrace ORCID. Regards.
