Balakrishnan Sent: Wednesday, August 25, 2021, 10:34 AM Dear All: Over the last three days, we witnessed a superb display of great activities truly reflecting the past, present and future of Digital Libraries in general and the MBP, DLI and CADAL in particular from the USA, Internet Archives, Google Books, Wikipedia, Canada, China and others. This proved to be stupendous learning for everyone. As you are aware, tomorrow the 26th August will be devoted to India. The program starts at 7.00 PM IST. The link for the meeting is available at: https://www.isri.cmu.edu/events/mbp20/index.html when you click on the Zoom Link. The program will have 4 talks. 1. Dr Ajay Sawhney 2. Prof Partha 3. Dr VN Shukla 4. Prof Rajeev Sangal and 5 Prof N Balakrishnan Each talk will be for 20 Minutes. This will be followed by a Panel discussion on the Future of Digital Libraries. The panellists are: 1. Prof Raj- Chairman of the panel 2. Shri Yashwant Bhave 3. Dr Ajay Sawhney 4. Prof Partha Chakraborty 5. N Balakrishnan I will moderate the program and introduce each speaker. I will use a maximum of two sentences to introduce each of you since you are very accomplished and famous. Then after that, you can share your screen and start the talk. After your talk, please stop sharing the screen. We will continuously get the questions through the Chat Box, and I will take on the questions later during the panel discussions.
