Koha Workshop at MyDLIS, University of Mysore
Dear Professionals, The Department of Studies in Library and Information Science, University of Mysore, Mysuru is organising a two-day workshop on “Library automation of college libraries using Koha” on January 11-12, 2018. The workshop is useful for librarians, information professionals, teachers and researchers interested in the field of library automation. The number of participants to the workshop is limited to 30 only. The registration is strictly on the first-cum-first-serve basis. Every participant will get hands-on training in the workshop. The participants will be trained intensively by experienced resource persons in all the Koha modules including installation and customisation. The registration fee for the workshop is Rs. 1000 to be paid by DD. The DD may be drawn in favour of the Chairman, Department of Studies in Library and Information Science, University of Mysore, Mysuru 570 006 payable at Mysuru. Over the years the Department has established the facilities required for training the students, researchers and librarians in library automation. A newly developed laboratory, with more than 30 computers, is well-suited for organising the workshops in the areas of library automation, digital libraries, open courseware and so on.
