Dear all, Informatics Publishing Limited is organizing a workshop on J-Gate on 15th July, 2014 at the following venue: Seminar Room National Library Plot No. 1A, Belvedere Road Alipore, Kolkata - 700 027 The event will comprise of the following activities: 1) Intensive hands-on training on the new J-Gate platform. 2) Explaining benefits of J-Gate for the librarians as well as end users. 3) Q&A and feedback session. Objectives of the Workshop: 1) To create awareness among the librarians and the end users about the new J-Gate platform and its features. 2) To train librarians on the Admin aspects of customization in J-Gate. 3) To train Library Professionals and equip them with the knowledge to impart trainings for their end-users by themselves. 4) To take feedback from the participants on the new J-Gate platform and prepare a wish-list for future releases. Who should participate: 1) Library Professionals from the institutes subscribing or planning to subscribe to J-Gate. 2) Information users who use or planning to use J-Gate as a journal discovery service. There is no registration fee. The participants will be awarded Certificate of Participation after completion of the workshop.
