Karthikeyan, Hon’ble Speaker, Kerala Legislative Assembly has agreed to inaugurate the function and present the KLA Gold Medals to the First Rank holders of MLISc Degree Courses of the University of Kerala and Calicut University and the BLISc First Rank holders of the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. Shri. C.P. Nair, former Chief Secretary, Govt. of Kerala will preside. Cash awards and Mementos instituted by Prof. C. A. Augustine Holy Cross Endowment for Information Science will also be given away by the Chief Guest to those students who scored highest marks in the Paper *“Information and Communication*”, of the MLISc Examination of the University of Kerala.
